For more than 50 years, the Association of German Ropeways and T-bar Lifts (VDS) has united 122 German ropeway companies as a national industry association.

As a competence centre, the association bundles and represents the common concerns and interests of the industry for its members. For the public, media and politicians, the association is the first point of contact for all questions relating to the ropeway industry in Germany.

Here, hosts, leisure businesses, employees of tourism destinations and tourist information centres can find bundled know-how to optimally prepare themselves for the challenges of modern tourism.

Schools in favour of skiing

For the past ten years, the Pro Skisport initiative has brought numerous school classes to the Alpen Plus areas winter after winter to experience winter sports up close. Schools benefit from special prices and support in organising their winter sports day.

The focus is on the fun of skiing and tobogganing, so that pupils can enjoy an exciting and active day in the snow. Benefit from attractive offers and organise an unforgettable day in the snow!

The patrons of this project are double Olympic champion Markus Wasmeier and Olympic silver medallist Peter Schlickenrieder.

At the "DSV aktiv Safety Days", the DSV experts, together with the Safety in Skiing Foundation (SIS), provide important tips on the topic of skiing safety with exciting and varied practical stations.

Comfortable, safe and congestion-free on the piste! With the MVV ski pass, we support public transport to our ski resorts.

The initiative Dein Winter. Dein Sport. puts sport at the centre and is the mouthpiece for the entire winter sports industry in Germany. The idea is to motivate people to enjoy winter sports together and to get them excited about its diversity.
The aim is to find joint solutions and endeavours for the social and economic success of all!
